Built over the ‘Samadhi’ of Shree Sai Baba, Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is some 296 kms from Mumbai city. The holy sanctuary is one of the richest temples in India. The temple houses a beautiful idol of the Sai Baba of Shirdi. Shirdi Sai Baba was an Indian guru and yogi regarded by his followers as an incarnation of God. He is a well-known divine figure in many parts of the world, but he is held in high respect especially in India. Devoted followers of Sai Baba visit the shrine to pay homage to the revered saint.
The Sai Baba Temple has a voluptuous treasure trove. With ornaments and jewellery worth Rs. 50, 53, 17,473 and total fixed deposits worth Rs.6, 27, 56, 97488, it ranks amongst the richest temples of India.
The temple premises have several of important sites connected to the life of Saibaba of Shirdi. These are highly venerated by all the devotees.
