Wallis Simpson’s Panther Bracelet, a symbol of style and indulgence

A bracelet owned by the Duchess of Windsor and fashionista, Wallis Simpson was sold for $7million at an auction. The ostentatious accessory was designed by Cartier and it has fetched the maximum amount for any of Cartier’s products till date.

The prestigious and prominent bracelet was manufactured at Paris in 1952. It is a stunning framework of 195mm. The Panther bracelet is carved in onyx and diamonds. Commissioned by the Duchess of Windsor, the sparkling piece was purchased by an anonymous buyer at Sotheby's in London for three times its estimate.
